I never thought I was going to do a shoot in lingerie. I used to see pictures of women who just screamed confidence and then I would look at myself in the mirror and feel so silly to even entertain the idea of doing something like that. My confidence was never high and I’m a very shy person. Then I came across Jakub’s work. We had a preliminary interview talked about how he works and what we were both hoping to achieve with the photoshoot. I let him know about some insecurities I had and hesitation. Jakub was extremely empathetic and took the time to help me work through some of the “worries” I had. He was very understanding and personable and helped me find the potential in myself. He helped me find the confidence that was buried in me. We went over the possible options for location and outfits and provided me with some tips and tricks on how to be prepared for the big day! He kept the shoot in a professional setting and didn’t hesitate to check in with me throughout the shoot to make sure we weren’t crossing any boundaries in terms of personal limits/comfort. He helped navigating poses and showed examples and ideas whenever I felt like I wasn’t sure how to pose. He did an excellent job at making me feel comfortable and telling me if something wasn’t working on camera. Overall, this was a great experience! The professionalism and the quality of work were exceptional. I would recommend working with Jakub to anyone looking to make the shoot an experience that they will enjoy and remember. Just wait for the results! I was in tears when I saw mine. I never thought I could ever feel beautiful and feminine in underwear. I owe a lot of my confidence now to this shoot and Jakub. Amazing photographer, great person, and hilarious guy!
